Kelsey Maxwell lives in a land of books. She is a book pusher by day, a voracious reader and writer by night. She lives on a retired dairy farm with her husband, daughter, and their ever-growing menagerie of animals. Today's cast of characters includes a handful of chickens and a couple of beef cows that are totally organic and grass-fed except for the occasional crumb cake. There is talk of a llama and sheep come spring.
